Gemma and Dan had their Wild Boar wedding in winter. It’s such a cosy venue in winter with low ceilings and open fires. You feel like you’re in your own world here too with the perfect mix of cosy and quirky and the best steak you’ll ever have as well as artisan beer. Gemma and Dan included so many beautiful details with their decor and even decorated the welly stand. The Wild Boar looked so beautiful, full of flowers and old books tied with lace. I think it was the perfect styling for this wonderful hotel. It was a joy to photograph because it was full to the brim with laughter and warmth. One of the best bits was Grandma Iris joining us via Facetime. She was poorly and couldn’t make the trip but she joined us on the iPad during the bridal prep and was able to watch the ceremony. DJ Gary Mills joined us for the evening celebrations. I’m not entirely sure if he was responsible for the hand stand competition or if that’s just a Yorkshire thing.
