Paul and Becky’s wedding at the Bivouac in Masham was incredible. It had a real seventies festival vibe to it and fortunately occurred on a beautiful sunny day which was great as most of the wedding was outside! The day started in one of the Bivouac’s wooden shacks for photographs of Becky’s details. Her dress was Queen Anne Lace from my absolute favourite designer Claire Pettibone. Her shoes were sparkly silver ones by Red or Dead and her bouquet was a gorgeous bunch of wild flowers which Becky and her mum made. Paul and the boys got ready in the shower room at the campsite which was fun and again, because of the heat, most of the getting ready happened outside. The humanist ceremony took place in the woods under a beautiful white canopy strung with bunting. The guests were seated on hay bales covered with crocheted blankets. Bizarrely Becky and Paul share a love of wrestling so all the table names were named after wrestlers. C M Punk (best in the world apparently :)) had pride of place at the top table. The wedding breakfast was a barbeque followed by a gorgeous selection of cakes and Yorkshire tea. Even the first dance was outside. I loved every minute of this beautiful wedding and as an added bonus lost half a stone because of the heat! Here are my favourite photographs..
