Sophie and Martin’s Lancashire farm tipi wedding was at the end of May on a beautiful day. The sun shone all day but the wind, oh my goodness! The tipi’s were set on top of a hill at Martin’s family farm in Heapey, Lancashire and although it was sunny and warm it was so windy that nobody could actually stay outside in the afternoon. Fortunately the wind subsided late afternoon and we all had the benefit of the golden hour sat on hay bales basking in the glorious golden light. The flowers (my absolute favourite flowers ever, ever) by Felicity Farm Flowers in Lancashire (definitely check them out if you’re having a Lancashire wedding) were abundant. Elaine had decorated Betty’s tipis inside and out and made the most amazing bouquets for Sophie and the girls. The colour palette she used was beyond beautiful. One of my favourite moments from the day was during bridal prep when Sophie had her Maggie Sottero wedding dress on and her dad came into see her for the first time. We all had a little cry.
