Amy and Warren’s Inn at Whitewell Wedding
My very first Inn at Whitewell wedding was twelve years ago and I still love photographing weddings here. It’s so relaxed and intimate and really is one of my favourite Lancashire Wedding venues. It’s set in the heart of the Ribble Valley overlooking the river Hodder. It’s famous for fish pie, good wines and beer and of course the stepping stones across the river.
When Amy first contacted me she said they’d gone from a planning a very small wedding to a full on marquee and she’d ‘even’ got herself a wedding dress. They wanted a photographer who would capture the party, the fun, the atmosphere and the intimacy of the day. No cheese, no posing. I knew they were mine! The civil ceremony was held in the restaurant followed by a marquee reception. The whole day was completely relaxed and filled with warmth and laughter. Lots of children running around and plenty of costume changes for everyone to enjoy. I drove Amy and Warren up to a lovely viewpoint just a few minutes away from Whitewell to take some pictures with the Longridge fells in the background.
Everything about this wedding was fun and relaxed. It was a pleasure to capture the day. Afterwards Amy wrote a little note saying “Thank you – we love them!!! We’ve looked at the photos about twenty times already. They are absolutely gorgeous photographs, I’ve been so excited about seeing them and they’ve really lived up to all of my expectations.”
