A Wedding at the Red Lion in Burnsall
January 20th, 2010
Matt & Justine had a very intimate civil ceremony at the Red Lion in Burnsall. Afterwards we all went over to Matt’s family church in Leeds for a blessing where they were joined by more friends and family. It snowed like crazy whilst we were in church so we all had a very interesting drive back to Burnsall
Needless to say things were held up a bit but everyone made it and had a wonderful, fun, snowy evening. Justine did warn me that Matt is a bit of a diva – I really had no idea what she meant until the dancing started…

Fabulous work Lisa. The placing the ring shot is so poignant. I love how you’ve worked with the lighting during the dancing too. I keep seeing weddings online and wonder where the disco lights are and why people are dancing with the house lights turned up full :~) then realise the disco lights have been blitzed into submission with flash. There’s a great sense of being there and part of the party in your images.
So atmospheric. Love the outdoor portraits and the detail shots in particular. Fab!
Gorgeous images Lisa – I love the romantic vintage feel to the portraits of Matt & Justine…
Great stuff Lisa, Your amazing personality encourages such natural wedding photography.
I love every single photograph, though the chair and the table are my favourite, the lighting is beautiful.
Beautiful images, love them all but the guys dancing really put a smile on my face!
Brilliant! x
