We held another Shotgun Weddings last week at Aspire Photography Training.  It was a full group and we had a great day. Chris and Emma’s Wedding at Stanley House in Mellor

I feel like I’ve known Chris and Emma forever because they have been to many of the Stanley House Wedding Fairs.  I’m one of their recommended wedding photographers so I always bump into my lovely couples quite a few times before their wedding day. The day started off at Emma’s mum and dads house for the preparations. Chris gave Emma a beautiful bracelet that belonged to his grandma which was a lovely start to the morning. Emma’s bridesmaid Hannah was there as well. It was great to see her and her mum,  I did a family shoot in Switzerland for them a few years ago so it was good to have a catch up and find out how many babies had been added to the family since I last saw them! Chris seemed calm when I arrived and I only saw the nerves appear just before Emma walked down the aisle. The weather held off all day and the little bit of wind made the outside shots of them all the more lovely because Emma’s veil was blowing about and I love that! Here are my favourites..

I photographed Laura and Adam a couple of weeks ago at the seaside. They are getting married in July and are having a signature board.  It was one of those perfect sunny days we had earlier in the month where we all got our summer clothes out! Here are my favourites…

Katie and Danny’s 1920s inspired wedding has been featured in Pure Weddings Magazine  Katie and Danny are very good friends of mine so it was a joy to be able to capture their amazing day.  Everybody put such a lot of effort into their outfits and really got into the spirit of the day.  It was an amazing sight watching people arrive at church. Katie had forgotten to tell the priest that they had a theme so his face was a picture as everyone arrived. Katie looked beautiful in her Jenny Packham gown and irregular choice shoes.  Danny and the boys looked awesome in their suits and fedoras.  Danny is actually saved in my phone as ‘Danny the Champion of the World’ because he is really one of the nicest people I know.

I know I’m behind with my blogging, this is my 5th blog this morning – so on this beautiful March day, when it’s around 70 degrees outside, I thought I’d bring you all down to earth with this snowy wedding from December. It’s forecast to snow on Monday so this is to get you in the mood Liz and Chris had the most beautiful wedding at Arley Hall in between Christmas and New Year. There was just enough snow to make footprints!

Claire and Harsh had a perfect day for their wedding at the Grange Hotel in Cumbria. The weather was warm and everyone enjoyed the sunshine. Both are F1 fanatics so their table names were all after F1 circuits! Harsh’s mum made their cake and hand made every single intricate flower herself. It was a fantastic day shared with lovely people.

Aimee and Andy had a brilliant wedding. From the moment I arrived it was fun and laughter, no stress just everyone enjoying the day. They had an autumn wedding at St John the Baptist in Preston followed by a reception at Lancaster House. Andy’s speech was one of the the most emotional and funniest I’ve ever heard. Here’s the story.

Claire and Anthony’s wedding was at the lovely Inglewood Manor in Cheshire. Complete with yellow VW camper van, a bouncy castle and a seriously cute flower girl who managed to get really involved in the ceremony it was really, really good fun! I didn’t manage to get a bounce on the castle but I did have a ride in the van! Here are my favourites..

Hannah and Ferg were married just before Christmas at St Mary’s church in Lymm followed by a reception at the Cottons Hotel in Knutsford. They planned the whole wedding in just four months! It was a perfect winters day, freezing and bright. Just like the day you wish for if you’re having a winter wedding.
